Prediction: Ron Paul Second Place Finish in Nevada

The Nevada Caucus is tonight and polls are showing a lead for Mitt Romney; however there is a story is who might come in second place tonight and this site is predicting a Ron Paul second place finish in Nevada.

From the Politico:

PAHRUMP, Nev. — This is Ron Paul country.
Paul won rural Nye County in southern Nevada four years ago with 415 votes, just 16 more than Mitt Romney. Nevada’s other 15 counties went for Romney, who enters Saturday’s caucuses as the front-runner again.

In the past six months, the Texas congressman’s campaign says volunteers have registered 800 new Republicans in this county alone.
The Paul campaign’s dedicated band of supporters, who put in months of unglamorous legwork, makes them confident they will best Newt Gingrich for at least second place on Saturday, even though the former House speaker has led Paul in public polls all week.

Nevada is a state that appeals to Ron Paul because the people that live in that state appreciate their freedom and liberty. It is the state of freedom and Paul can pull those voters into his voting bloc.

There is a fight at the top of the Republican field by Romney and Gingrich for who is the most corrupt and now it is time for voters to start realizing that you can trust a guy like Ron Paul and not buy into the idea that one of those other two are the inevitable nominee for the Republican Party.

Ron Paul has a vision for this country and a way to actually fix the problems we currently have. The voters out west in these caucus states are going to set the tone for who they really want from a Republican and I believe that will translate tonight with a Ron Paul second place finish.
